Hodder Studio is an innovative new list of fiction and non-fiction titles from Hodder & Stoughton, which brings together creative minds from a wide range of backgrounds and media industries.

Hodder Studio seeks original approaches to contemporary storytelling across print, digital and audio.  Whether that’s a beautifully produced hardback, a fully immersive audio piece; a dynamic series of short podcasts; a specially commissioned Twitter tale; or an eBook turned around in record time, Hodder Studio seeks to reimagine storytelling in a way that represents our ever-changing technological and cultural landscape to reach a vast range of readers and listeners.

The editorial team are acquiring books with international aspirations, exploring original partnerships and developing new relationships with audiences.

The Hodder Studio editorial team, under Jamie Hodder-Williams, comprises book lovers from a range of backgrounds.

Publisher Myfanwy Moore was previously an award-winning TV Producer and Controller of Comedy at the BBC.  Having spent many years working with scripts, Myfanwy is a great advocate of skilful storytelling and at Hodder Studio is commissioning entertaining literary fiction and narrative non-fiction.

Editorial Director Harriet Poland, whose main interests lie in smart innovative non-fiction, was formerly a Commissioning Editor and Business Affairs Manager at Audible where she commissioned non-fiction projects for audio.

Editorial Director Sara Adams joins us from Harvill Secker where she was Commissioning Editor and previously at Headline. Sara, a novelist herself, will be spearheading the fiction acquisitions and has a specialist interest in commercial fiction.

Alongside them are assistant editors, Izzy Everington, who has worked at PRH and Orion, and Bea Fitzgerald, previously at Scholastic and Hachette Children’s.  Editorial Assistant across the team is Kwaku Osei-Afrifa who has worked at Canongate, Titan and most recently Unbound.
